Cross Country

In a flash it was the Cross country. I was pumped and also frightened. When we started the race I was nervous. Our course was around the paddock and the school 1 time. I believed in myself. The paddock was really smelly. I was pounding my heart out. It was finally the end and I was sore,tired and sweaty.  

Puriri moth

Puriri moth!

Jaram brought in a Puriri moth.We had to let it go.

A Puriri moth is black and green. He has big black eyes.it is  camouflaged,Colourful,

native to new zealand . It is very delicate. It was trying to crawl out of the box. It only lives for 2 days.

I read a book called Mammals. I learnt a cool fact here it is.  Mammals are warm blooded animals.


The koala spends most of it's life in trees.  When a baby koala is born it is tiny.It crawls through  it's mothers fur until it reaches her pouch, where it stays for 6 weeks.
